Course Overview “Managing the Remote Office”
Technology makes it possible to do office work away from the office, and more and more employees are doing just that. The traditional office is often subsidized by a “virtual office” – a portable workstation, a home, an airport, a coffee shop, etc. And, working from a “virtual office” provides many benefits for the customer, employee, manager, and organization.
In this workshop, participants learn strategies and techniques for managing communication, building team involvement, and supervising remote employees. The course explores the challenges supervisors encounter when managing the non-traditional office setting.
